Hypocrisy cannot be veiled forever

The biggest problem for hypocrites is the truth, truth is everywhere.

You see, hypocrites have to remember the lies that they have told and where it fits between the truth and they have to remember it every day and every time they open their mouth but people who only deal with the truth don't have to remember anything other than the facts.

For example Anwar Ibrahim lied about taking care of the Kampung Buah Pala land issue before the 12th General Elelction,he said that the problem would be solved within two weeks because "Karpal Singh is on our side' and 'the Chief Minister would be one of us'.

I don't understand what a an old lawyer has got to do with state decisions but even with the chief minister lording over land affairs, they did not solve the problem, in fact one of the first things Lim Guan Eng did was sign the permission or state consent for the land to be transferred to the developer.
Solving Kampung Buah Pala would have been a simple case of not signing the consent.

I am not saying that the development of Kampung Buah Pala is a bad thing, but Anwar promised and Pakatan promised ketuanan rakyat,Ketuanan Rakyat, from what I gathered at their heated political rallies meant that the Government listened to the Rakyat on everything and don't favour large corporations or development if it victimises the rakyat.

On this basis alone, Ketuanan Rakyat is a false promise,no Government in the world can operate by pleasing everyone,no Government in the world can operate without victimising some of the population.

Let me give you several examples, Do you remember Kampung Chubadak near Sentul?

Tian Chua rabble rousin at Kg Chubadak,
I wonder if he now drives on DUKE
to his political rallies or protests

Remember all the fuss that DAP and PKR kicked up when the Government wanted to relocate the squatters there and acquire land for a highway? Remember how everyone said that the Government was Zalim and heartless?

The truth is the Government was just doing its job,They were looking further ahead than the people could see and the Government saw that the nation's capital needed a quick link from Damansara to Ulu Kelang and as part of the masterplan they had made allocations in Ulu Kelang and Damansara for the highway alignment.

I used to wonder why the roundabout at AU3 was so large and why there was an unused tract of land in Wangsa Maju...they were DUKE highway but within the city centre and through parts of the older Gombak-Sentul area they had no choice but to relocate people.

The Government stood their ground and took the flak and pushed through the idea.

Well, now DUKE is one of the most useful highway in the capital reducing travel time from Damansara to Ulu Kelang from nearly two hours to just twenty minutes (10 minutes according to a regular user).

Ketuanan Rakyat is nothing more than pure Political Hype and propaganda,

It is a feel-good message that Pakatan knows they can never deliver, heck they would not even be able to deliver a small portion of it.

In fact I dare say that pakatan cannot even deliver the parts about corruption and abuse of power. and I say this from observations in Penang, Selangor, Perak (under DAP rule), Kedah and Kelantan.

Anwar making promises at Kg Buah Pala

In Penang we see the Chief minister incorporating all sorts of new bodies to push forward his political agenda to keep Penang in the hands of the Chinese -and I can bet that those supporting PR will blurt - 'well that's the same that Umno is doing for the Malays',so if you say A is wrong, why is it OK for B to do it?

They hike water tariff in Penang as they condemn water tariff increase in Selangor.

In Perak, they bulldoze the 999-year land policy without regard to convention and the National Land Code.A parliamentary democracy moves slowly on the basis of convention to prevent abuse of power  and in Perak they disregarded it.

In Perak DAP removed the safeguard of convention for the sake of their political convenience, they did not even have the decency to pretend to adhere to convention.

Meanwhile in Kedah we all know about Kabinet Batu 9,

Batu 9 Jalan Langgar is where the Dewan Harian Pas is held and most state decisions are made there to be rubber stamped by the PAS-Controlled State Assembly.

In reality, if PAS in Kedah is united, it would not make any difference where the decision is arrived at because they will still vote the same way in the assembly but the thing is, when Umno dominates the decision making they accuse Umno of sidelining the other parties.

Well that is the way of democracy isn't it? For the most time the majority gets their way, there are times when the minority is given priority

Then we move to the Selangor where the biggest campaign promises were to give free water and increase sand revenue.

Well the free water is flowing but then again the state has to pay to the water concessionaire for it and they can't continue to do it much longerthis is one of the main reasons why they want to take over Syabas.

I think limited free water is a good idea but one cannot implement a policy without looking at the financial implications to all the parties involvedbecause there is no such thing as a free lunch, someone is paying for it.

The Selangor state government is behaving like a bully against Syabas and that is not going to get them far because, Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, the boss of Syabas and Puncak Niaga is an old hand at this poltiical game, he is well known for his bully tactics.

Anyway good luck on Syabas

When it comes to the sand issue, Selangor's sand revenue for 2010 is lower than the last years under Khir Toyo. Why is that?

Some say because Kumpulan Semesta S/D (KSSB) the state monopoly of sand is leaking worse than a colander.

Bits and pieces of evidence have come up but I guess the authorities figure this is not enough, even the Selangor Committee on Accountability and Transparency SelCAT saw nothing wrong with KSSB..

Kalau gajah depan mata tak nampak nak buat macamana.

Meanwhile in Kelantan the people continues to put up with third world infrastructure and murky piped water while hanging on to the promise of paradise,as if living in less than sanitary conditions and with poor infrastructure promises Allah's pleasure.....

madness..
